“Travel to Jungfraujoch was very pleasant experience. Whole area is so beautiful that you get lost in it. Itinerary talked about lot more hours than what we got. Under "What to expect" section it says 1 hour for Grinderwald, 4 hours for Jungfraujoch and 2 hours for Lauterbrunnen. There is no way we received anywhere close to these hours. These hours were the reason why we decided to book this tour. We could have just done the tour ourselves by buying tickets directly and spent more time at every location.”

However, our tour guide was rude and obnoxious - he told one person Lady, you are talking now and not listening and I will not repeat this again and told me I was not paying attention when I asked for clarification on the group meeting point. Finally, I was in a group of 5 and he insisted we all sit together, even though one of our group members wanted to sit closer to the front of the bus. “I have been on a number of Viator’s all which have been good to wonderful. This experience was awful and not what I paid a lot of money for a small bus ,all day tour. Switzerland was beautiful but we had NO tour guide. Driver played a recorded message about the area for about 20 minutes, bought us tickets to ride gondola and train and left us to navigate on our own with minimal direction. “What a fantastic tour! Who knew there was a railway built inside a mountain in Switzerland? And that it was completed over a hundred years ago? We had an amazing day with our guide Jonas. He took care of all the train transfers getting to the top of the mountain and all the transfers getting back down and back to Bern using a different route. Such a relief to have someone knowledgeable make these time-sensitive reservations and be able to negotiate with the staff when things don’t go quite as planned. “The guide was excellent. However in the viator website it did not mention that we will be using public transport and walking the full 8 hour tour. I would have preferred a car to pick us up and take us to the closest spot ..to take the train to jungfrau.. and have the car come and pick us up at the next train spot. It also mentioned that we will be seeing grindelwald ( which we did not ) ..”
